The Sales Engineer (f/m/d) at receeve is both a technical and business resource, bridging the gap between sales, product and operations. This role works within the receeve Sales team as their trusted technical advisor and closely together with Product. You will be an expert when it comes to the receeve platform and our integration process. This is an exciting position integral to the long-term success of both receeve and our clients..

Reporting to the Head of Sales, we are looking for a solution-oriented individual with business and technical expertise. Your key focus is partnering with sales reps to consult, strategize, plan, design, and execute enterprise and mid-market deals in a complex sales cycle. The ideal candidate is both business and technically savvy, possesses excellent communication/presentation skills, relationship/client-facing experience, creative solutions, negotiation, and sales/marketing expertise.

You will be responsible for translating business, technical requirements and customer pain points into presentations and demos for our clients. Answering technical and business questions to instil trust and show domain expertise will be essential for your success.


  • Consult and advise potential clients on business and technical strategies for implementing receeve.
  • Detailed knowledge of product features, integrations, configuration options and functionalities of receeve architecture to drive client requirement decisions.
  • Support the Sales team with business and technical knowledge and advice, handling technical objections in client meetings.
  • Support sales team with the development of use cases, statement of work and RFPs.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Technical Solutions, Engineering, Product, and Client Experience Management teams to ensure smooth product delivery and commit to long-term customer success.

  • Computer Science or related Bachelor's Degree
  • Proven work experience as a Sales Engineer/Architect, 3-4 years experience
  • Strong presentation skills and customer-facing acumen
  • Experience building and leading bespoke technical demos
  • Strong familiarity with system integration methods
  • Experience working with business functional areas including Sales, Customer Success, Customer Support, Operations and Development
  • Prior experience in completing/submitting RFP’s/tender offers
  • Business fluent English and German
